The Council of Ontario Drama and Dance Educators (CODE) invites all Drama and Dance Artists and Educators to attend this year’s CODE Conference, Think Global: Drama and Dance being held at Nottawasaga Inn Resort, October 19th – 21st, 2012. This year's conference focuses on the universal nature of drama and dance, and its power to inspire and promote global responsibility and awareness.

Conference Highlights Include:

  • Keynote Address and Featured Workshop by internationally-renowned educator Patrice Baldwin, President of IDEA 2013, Chair of National Drama UK, celebrated author and founder of the Drama for Learning and Creativity (D4LC) Initiative
  • Gala Dinner and International Dance Showcase from Prologue to the Performing Arts
  • Interactive Panel with Educators and Artists working in drama and dance around the world
  • Workshops by esteemed educators and artists such as Larry Swartz, Janice Pomer, Hannah Beach, Kaeja d'dance, Kathy Gould Lundy, and Newton Moraes just to name a few. Workshops will cover a broad range of topics relating to global drama and dance, such as Shakespeare for social justice, African, South Asian and Tibetan dance, digital theatre, playwriting, antiracism in the drama classroom and much, much more!
