An Incredible Opportunity for Students - Youth Artists For Justice

Youth Artists For Justice is a 15-week program that integrates performing arts, community education and collaborative action research with youth participants at YPT in Toronto (with a parallel program happening at Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston).  In this hybrid/online community-based action research project, participants at each site will choose a topic based on the question, "What do you wish you had more influence over in society?" Using research in to their chosen topic, each group will create a theatrical piece, which may consist of any number of artistic forms.

The Youth Artists For Justice program is for students aged 15-19.  Students will receive a $450.00 honourarium for their participation.

Take a look at the attached poster for more details.  Please note that the January 20th interview date has been changed to Tuesday January 17, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
