In Memoriam: Debra McLauchlan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Debra McLauchlan, a valuable member of the drama education community and a cherished CODE colleague. Debra was a professor of drama education at Brock University and a longtime member of CODE. She was particularly instrumental in helping us to archive and store documents related to CODE's 46 year history, a wonderful legacy to our organization. We send our love and thoughts to all of those who worked alongside Deb and benefitted from her immense wisdom over the years, as well as her friends and family.

Debra McLauchlan passed away on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at her residence at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Bill. Cherished mother of Derek (Lauren) Hundert. Loving Grandma of Cameron and Maggie Hundert. Sister of Peter McLauchlan. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, November 4th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Private Family Ceremony will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Carousel Players - St. Catharines or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
