From the spectacular Nexus Lounge at OISE, overlooking the Toronto skyline, members of the CODE Management Board, members, alumni and teacher candidates gathered to launch our new, improved website.
MC'ed by Sarah Papoff, the new site was introduced by Stephen Wei, former Communications chair and the driving force behind the website redesign. Shawn Rocheleau, Publications chair, spoke about the path forward, and how CODE can and will use our new online platform to expland our reach and scope.
At the event to sign their new books were CODE Alumni and supporters Larry Swartz, Kathleen Gallagher, Debbie Nyman and David Booth. We thank them for their on-going work to further Drama education in Ontario and beyond, and for their support of CODE.
It was a wonderful evening of networking and reconnecting, and a great cross-section of our membership came out to support and celebrate.
We would like to extend special thanks, as always, to David Booth, who provided so much support and leadership in organizing the event. Thanks also to Rochelle Matthews, Toronto Regional Rep, for spearheading this event.
