Presented as part of Nightwood Theatre’s 2016/17 season at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre Oct 22- Nov 6 and is directed by Amy Nosebakken, a longtime CODE conference workshop presenter.Mouthpiece is a unique artistic expression that raises issues revolving around gender, feminism, the complexities of raising one's voice against oppression, and tracks women's voices throughout history into the very present day, here in Toronto.

FASI – Fine Arts Summer Intensive – is a series of workshops for educators, current high school and university students and emerging professionals, offered by the Faculty of Fine Arts at York University under one cross-disciplinary umbrella. Mingle with artists of all experiences and backgrounds as you participate in engaging and thought-provoking workshops at one of Canada’s leading fine arts schools.FASI is offering amazing experiences in dance, design, film, music, theatre and visual arts. Back by popular demand, Branch Out Theatre is offering an intensive workshop series in Augusto Boal's Theatre ofthe Oppressed.  This training will include Image Theatre (Sept. 27th), Forum Theatre (Oct. 4th) and Rainbow of Desire techniques (Oct. 6th).  These techniques are excellent tools for conflict resolution, initiating dialogue and motivating positive change, advocacy, community building, self-awareness and personal growth.  No previous theatreexperience necessary. Jonothan Neelands Workshop on October 15 at OISE U of T!

This practical drama workshop with Jonothan Neelands will explore John Steinbeck's iconic novel The Grapes of Wrath and its contemporary resonances for the troubled world that young people are experiencing.Using material from the novel and the film and play versions as well as other historical and contemporary materials the workshop offers a model of how teaching literature of the past through drama can connect us powerfully with our world today. The workshop started life as a pre-show and post-show workshop for the current Stratford Festival production and is still evolving as a socio-historical theatrical journey into the lives, experiences and art of those living on the edge then and now.Please note that only those who have registered will be admitted.
