The 2017 CODE Conference is Almost Here!

From October 13-15, 2017, The Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario will become home to drama and dance educators, artists and supporters.  This year's conference theme is 'Claiming Our Voices', and will provide delegates with a number of inspirational, informative and engaging workshops that will leave educators with a number of tools to bring back to their classrooms.  Whether you're new to Arts Education or a vet, read on to see how to register for 'Claiming Our Voices'.

In the Fall, Julie Hartley (Director of Centauri Arts and Centauri Summer Arts Camp) ran a workshop for the CODE Conference based on a text book she is working on, which explores creative approaches to rehearsals and performance. The workshop was very well received, and has now been extended into a full day session which will take place in Toronto on Sunday April 10th.

New ETFO Publication: More Than a Play

The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) has just released a drama resource called "More Than a Play". This resource is a collection of plays about the "isms" for junior/intermediate students.
