The Grande Finale
This is unit 4 (the culminating unit) of a sample intermediate dance course revised from the 1999 Dance Course Profile. In this unit students are introduced to the objectives of the entire course, overall evaluations and project requirements. This unit consists of a culminating activity wherein students work in small groups to select a source (e.g., story, poem, visual art, music) that is meaningful to them and compose a dance piece of approximately 3 minutes based on that source.
