Christine Jackson, former CODE President and current Toronto DSB Program Coordinator for the Arts, has been chosen as one of an esteemed group of artists and educators to participate in the inaugural Toronto Arts Council Cultural Leaders Lab.
Christine is one of 18 Fellows who will "mobilize Toronto’s extensive pool of arts leadership talent to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector, and the City." (TAC Press Release) These talented peope will participate in in a leadership intensive at the Banff Centre in April, and will then endeavour to work to be "a powerful force for change across the various sectors of Toronto’s arts and culture industry, and across the city," says Claire Hopkinson, Director and CEO of the Toronto Arts Council.
