This lesson focuses on the final performance/ culminating of the unit. In small groups, students perform a final dance piece for evaluation. Students rehearse and polish their choreography applying performance skills taught earlier in the unit. The teacher records student performances for teacher evaluation, student evaluation, and class discussion. It is suggested that each group have the opportunity to perform their dance twice, with class discussion/feedback given between the first and second performances. Remind students that theatre protocol is be followed at all times.
