• Students stand in a circle in neutral position .  The teacher starts by clapping to the left or right; the student who ‘receives the clap’ then passes it on to the next student.  When a circuit is complete, the teacher passes it the other direction, indicating the speed should be increased, etc…
  • This is a rather basic warm-up, and usually lasts for about 5 minutes in a class of thirty students.  It is, however, the basis of all the other circle games, and a great way to get a drama class focused!
