Spaghetti Game / Le jeu de spaghetti

Have the students form a large circle. The teacher will give, each student, in turn a specific emotion or character trait. The chosen student must focus on the given emotion/character trait, walk to the center of the circle and say the word “spaghetti”.

Demandez aux élèves de former un grand cercle. L'enseignant donne à chaque élève, à tour de rôle, une émotion ou un trait de caractère spécifique. L'élève choisi doit se concentrer sur l'émotion ou le trait de caractère donné, marcher jusqu'au centre du cercle et prononcer le mot « spaghetti ».

Encourage the students to allow the given emotion to colour their delivery of the word spaghetti and to drive their movement in to and out of the circle.  

After everyone has had a turn, call out group round. During the group round, call out an emotion and encourage all players to move to the center of the circle and say “spaghetti” in unison. The group round often helps members to all feel welcome. 

Encouragez les élèves à laisser l'émotion donnée colorer leur prononciation du mot « spaghetti » et à diriger leurs mouvements d'entrée et de sortie du cercle.  

Une fois que tout le monde a eu son tour, annoncez un tour de groupe. Pendant le tour de groupe, annoncez une émotion et encouragez tous les joueurs à se déplacer vers le centre du cercle et à dire « spaghetti » à l'unisson. Le tour de table aide souvent les membres à se sentir les bienvenus.
